Excellent
These pants are super comfortable. I found they ran just a little big on my waist (31), but I tend to be in between a 30 and 31. Otherwise, I have a difficult time thinking about wearing any other pants, cannot recommend these more strongly.

Yeah, the hype is real.
I first heard of Duer a few years back when I first started transitioning all of my clothes to higher-performance clothes (I blame Reddit's r/onebag community, but that's a discussion for another time)- I saw they were available at a local shop near me, so I went to try on a pair. At this point, I was primarily wearing technical fabric pants from a number of makes, but yearned for something that felt a bit softer to the touch- as much as I loved the technical fabric for high-exertion activity, I felt I could do better style-wise than what I already owned.
I tried on my normal size, but I found them pretty baggy in the waist- after sizing down (Duer, perhaps consider making odd sizes in the future!), I found the pants to be snug in all the right places. I immediately went to the Duer site and purchased a pair of No Sweat in the slim fit. The slim option fit snugly upon first wear, but a few hours later they relaxed and fit me like a glove. So well, in fact, that I sorta felt cheated by my other pants. Pants this comfortable and stretchy, with some stated performance properties, with a gussett, but without the tech sheen? Time to test!
First, I rode some easy/intermediate singletrack- I'm a pretty sweaty guy (sorry) but these held up. While they're not as quick-drying as 100% poly pants, they feel a heck of a lot better and still did well. MTB test? Check.
Second, I wore these around when I was on a short trip. From sitting on a plane, to doing some basic 3 miles hikes…
